Farmingdale Trivia Answer: Paramount Diner Then, Lotus Today

Answer to Thursday's trivia question.

The  is of the Paramount Diner on Conklin Street, which is today. The photo dates back to the 1930s, taken on the northeast corner of Conklin and Washington Streets.

According to the Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society, the Hook, Ladder and Hose Company of the Farmingdale Fire Department vacated their old building in early 1932 to move into the present Village Hall Firehouse and since then the location has been the site of a restaurant, first the Paramount Diner (above) which later became the Lido Diner, and now Lotus Garden.

Congratulations to  who correctly guessed the location, Conklin near Main Street, in the comments.
