1. Town Supervisor John Venditto is hosting a at 7 p.m. Morrelly Homeland Security Center in Bethpage.  The seminar will inform residents on how to prepare for a hurricane or other weather emergency, when to evacuate, what to do when a storm hits and how to best respond during the aftermath.  It will also cover other emergencies and include a tour of the center at the end.

2. The Suffolk County PAL is holding its first online auction. Proceeds to be used for recreation programs to help fight crime and drugs amongst children. The auction is held at www.biddingforgood.com/pal and includes art, jewelry, logo watches, travel, experiences, food, toys and household items.
