LIRR is suspending service around noon today on Farmingdale's Ronkonkoma branch due to the approaching hurricane.
The last train from Penn Station to Farmingdale is at 12:16 p.m. It will arrive at Farmingdale at 1:09 p.m. before reaching Ronkonkoma at 1:35 p.m.
The last train from Ronkonkoma to Farmingdale departs from Ronkonkoma at 12:40 p.m. It will arrive in Farmingdale at 1:06 p.m. and at Penn Station at 1:59 p.m.

The MTA is strongly advising customers not to take the last trains due to anticipated congestion. Here are other trains for Farmingdale residents to take prior to the shut down:
From Penn Station to Farmingdale:

At Gov. Cuomo's direction, the LIRR will suspend fare collection, effective immediately on all westbound trains on the Far Rockaway, Long Beach and Montauk/Babylon Branches to facilitate evacuation. This does not apply to the Ronkonkoma branch.
Conductors will view tickets for monthly/weekly ticket holders, but will not collect a fare for those under the evacuation orders. Also, pets will be allowed to accompany evacuees on trains when leashed or in a container.
