Starting Thursday, Farmingdale Patch launches a new weekly series of articles dedicated to helping you find the best that we have to offer.
In addition to providing you the local news you need to know, we'll feature a weekend planner, a guide to houses and a spotlight on the best, newest and tastiest in the Farmingdale area — whatever that might be.
"Get Out" will run at 10 a.m. It's our newer, punchier version of our weekend field guide for those whose Friday nights can't come quick enough.
Looking for a new place to live or interested in homes that recently sold in the area? At 12 p.m., spend your lunch hour with "House Hunt," and "Sold!" galleries featuring homes that sold an open houses on Saturday and Sunday.
"Viewfinder" is our new version of our former photography column featuring pics of anything that is beautiful, quirky and fun in our area. It's scheduled to run at 1 p.m. every Thursday.
"Patch Picks" — a spotlight on local digs that tie in to current holidays or major events — will run at 3 p.m. This Thursday, we'll let you in on the best hangouts to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday.
"Bites Nearby," scheduled to run at 5 p.m., offers up a suggestion for a place to chill with a nice meal and a drink — much-deserved after a long work week.
