Nassau Bar Association Hosts “Dressed to a Tea”, a Fashion Show Fundraiser Supporting Residents in Need

“Dressed to a Tea”, Nassau County Bar Association’s Annual Fashion Show and fundraiser, will be held Thursday, April 7, 20100, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the NCBA headquarters, 15th and West Streets, Mineola. This highly anticipated event, sponsored by the NCBA WE CARE Fund and the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, will feature Nassau court employees modeling 2011 spring fashions courtesy of Lord & Taylor, with all proceeds directly benefitting Nassau County residents in need.  Hair and make-up for the models will be provided courtesy of Bobbi Brown cosmetics.

Since its founding in 1988, The WE CARE Fund, the charitable arm of the Bar Association, has raised more than $2 million that has been distributed to more than 100 local charitable causes. Today it has matured into a nationally recognized model for similar programs of other bar associations. This year, proceeds from” Dressed to a Tea” will benefit local charities including Interfaith Nutrition Network, Dress for Success,  Education & Assistance Corporation, The Eastern Farm Workers and Bethany House.

Reservations for “Dressed to a Tea” are $35. To make reservations or for more information, contact Elaine Leventhal at 516-747-4070 or eleventhal@nassaubar.org, or visit the website: www.nassaubar.org.
