Farmingdale Eagle Scouts Honored

The Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America.

Two Farmingdale residents, Dominick A. Baranello, Jr. and Eric M. Weingart, were honored for earning their Eagle Scout Awards.

The Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America.  

The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, giving rise to the phrase “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”

On hand to celebrate were Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and representatives from the Theodore Roosevelt Council, Boy Scouts of America; Jay Garee (scout executive/CEO),  Eric Anderson (council commander), Sal Ciampo (council president), and Gerald Kaiser (past president).
