'Farmingdale Remembers' Service Tuesday Night

Community Summit Council's service at 6:30 p.m. at Farmingdale Library; community invited.

The is hosting a community-wide remembrance Tuesday night at the .

The Council, which was created after 9/11/01, has evolved into an organization that raises funds to assist Farmingdale families in need, encourage literacy and continue to honor the memory of those who sacrificed so much on 9/11.

The annual Farmingdale Remembers ceremonywill be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Farmingdale Public Library, 116 Merritts Road.

Farmingdale Remembers is the Summits’ annual observance commemorating the events of September 11, 2001. Summit organizers are urging all residents of the community to participate in the brief ceremony to honor and remember those who perished, pay tribute to those who served so selflessly in the recovery operation and to show our continued support for all those who were affected by the events of 9/11/01.

Refreshments and the Summit meeting will be held afterwards.
