Howitt Middle School Hosts Holiday Toy Drive
Student Council members collect toys and donate them to those in need.
Farmingdale’s Howitt Middle School Student Council recently hosted a holiday toy drive.
Students and faculty members were encouraged to bring in new and unwrapped toys. The students collected the toys – including miniature cars and trucks, dolls and arts and crafts sets.
From there, the children donated them to Social Service Volunteers of Nassau County, which distributed them to children throughout the region.
