Howitt Middle School Students Learn Art History at MoMA
40 students travel to NYC to view modern art collection.
Farmingdale's Howitt Middle School eighth grade studio arts students recently visited the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan.
The trip was designed so the 40 students could develop a deeper appreciation for the arts by learning about the most prominent artists throughout recent art history.
The students viewed the famous works of artists like Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh.
