Saltzman East Memorial Students Celebrate Tree Lighting
Students take part in holiday tradition in downtown Farmingdale.
The Farmingdale School District’s Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School student chorus recently celebrated the holiday season and performed at the Farmingdale Village Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Drewes, sang several renditions of holiday-themed songs. Prior to their performance, the students learned the cultural significance of the songs they learned.
