Model builders came to Farmingdale Saturday for a display and competition attracting fans from around the region.
The Long Island Scale Model Society hosted Noreastcon, an event that brings together those who build models of interest to those who study history, military or science fiction. Among the models were a Nassau County police scenario, a Roman soldier, a Japanese submarine, Dracula, numerous pieces of American military hardware and spacecraft.
