Main Street in Farmingdale was jammed Sunday as residents turned out to enjoy food, and check vendors' offerings on a sunny, bright day.
For the kids, a bounce machine and steep slide were key attractions, as were a petting zoo and a chance to test their football skills.
Some regular Main Street restaurants and bars, including Mexican Grill, Bollinger's and the offered outdoor service while plenty of other food vendors set up shop for the day on the street.
The fair was sponsored by the Village of Farmingdale Fire Department as a fundraiser.
