TONIGHT ON LONG ISLAND - Fundraiser Dinner to Honor Farmingdale Teens who Died in Mother's Day Crash - with Dwight Gooden, Cass Dillon and others 

Tonight, June 17 2014 at 7pm, families and friends will host a fundraising event at The Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, NY 11797 (516) 692-8000 in honor of the teens that perished - and to raise money for those impacted - in the widely reported and horrific accident that happened in Farmingdale on May 10th; just before Mother's Day last month.

From Newsday: "It was a Mother’s Day of sorrow in Farmingdale, L.I., following the deaths of five teenagers on Saturday in a horrific car accident that may have been the result of a drag race. On May 10th, a car full of Farmingdale High School students crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a sport utility vehicle, killing the teenagers and plunging the community into mourning. The impact of the crash threw two of the teenagers from their 2001 Nissan sedan, police said. "It was really a horrific scene," said a Farmingdale Fire Department spokesman.
