Main Street Merchants Protest Car Show but Ignored

Seventeen Main Street Businesses signed a petition and met with officials a few times asking them not to shut down Main St for car shows. The town agreed with them to move show to back parking lots and then proceeded to close Main St anyway.  

Businesses that signed were Restaurants, Hair Salons and Niche stores. 

Most residents in the Villiage had no idea that a Car Show was even happening today?
