No. 98: Attend Free Swim at Farmingdale High School

Farmingdale High School hosts free swim every Thursday for Farmingdale residents.

For those looking for an indoor activity to enjoy during the winter season, hosts a free open swim night every Thursday from 7:30-9 p.m.

All sections of the pool are available to use, including the shallow end for young children which is 3 ft. 6 in. deep. Lap lanes are open as well.

For every session multiple certified lifeguards are on duty, some of which are current Farmingdale High School students.

The sessions are only open to Farmingale residents. To attend the free swim you don't not have to sign up, but children that are left unattended must be signed in by a parent or guardian with their contact information.

Please be aware that the session ends at 9 p.m. and not the originally posted time of 9:30 p.m. The last day to enjoy the free swim is Thursday, April 14.

Parking spots fill up quickly, especially when other events are occurring at the high school so arrive early for a decent spot.
