The Islanders are conducting open practices this week in anticipation of a lockout-shortened season that will consist of about 50 games.
And it will be one of the last seasons in Nassau County: The NHL team will move to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn after the 2014-15 season.
At this late date in the hockey season, we're wondering, do you even care?
Will Islanders' hockey disappear from Long Island's consciousness or will the team's fans follow them to Brooklyn?
