Four people were hurt Sunday on Route 110 in East Farmingdale in a four-car collision.
The driver of a southbound Toyota crossed over the median into the northbound lane, striking three oncoming vehicles in the vicinity of Milbar Boulevard, authorities said.
East Farmingdale firefighters responded with their heavy rescue and cut one of the occupants out of the crumpled vehicle.
In all, four people were transported to local hospitals; authorities said their injuries were not life-threatening, but no further details were immediately available.
Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
