Bethpage Firefighters Hosting Community Meal Friday Night

Bethpage restaurants are contributing enough food to feed hundreds from 5-8 p.m.

Members of the Bethpage Fire Department are hosting a community meal for those in need Friday night at fire headquarters on Broadway.

Organized by Firefighter Charlie Razenson, the hot meals have been donated by Bethpage-area restaurants. The fire house can accommodate several hundred people. The food and companionship are free.

Firefighters organized the event to provide a decent hot meal to area residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath, that has left thousands in the dark in and around Bethpage.
