Bethpage Man Accused of Public Lewdness at Pool

Cops: Suspect exposed himself to three females, the youngest was 14.

A Bethpage man has been charged with public lewdness after police say he exposed himself to three females, including a 14-year-old, at an apartment complex pool in Westbury.

On Tuesday, Nassau detectives charged Mario Kot, 56, with exposing himself to the three victims. The incident took place on the afternoon of Aug. 23 at the
Archstone Meadowbrook Crossing apartment complex in Westbury, police said.

Police say the three victims, ages 29, 28 and 14, were sitting out by the complex pool at 1299 Corporate Drive when they observed Kot, about 10 feet away, exposing himself through the mesh on a beach chair. The victims notified a lifeguard as the defendant fled in his 2012 Toyota Camry.

A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the Kot, of 669 Broadway. He was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of child. He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
