No one was hurt when a black SUV driving south on Main Street overturned after swerving to avoid a dog on Tuesday morning, according to Nassau County police.
The accident occurred near the pedestrian crosswalk in front of the at at 8:30 a.m.
The car hit a parked white Jeep before overturning. A Nassau police officer at the scene said the dog was not hurt.
As of 9:30 a.m. Main Street remains closed between Conklin St. and Prospect St.
