Cellphone Store Burglarized

Money, iPhones taken from Verizon Wireless store.

Nassau County police are investigating a burglary that occurred early Thursday morning in Farmingdale.

About 3:47 a.m., a Second Precinct officer heard an alarm coming from 87 Hempstead Turnpike and saw that someone had thrown a brick through the front door of the Verizon Wireless store.

An unknown amount of money and inventory that consisted of iPhones, iPads, and Android phones were missing.

Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
