Cops: 4 Burglaries, 3 Robberies Nearby

One robbery, one burglary reported in Farmingdale.

Cops reported seven burglaries and robberies in the Farmingdale area last week.

According to Nassau County Police, four burglaries and three robberies were reported by victims within one week of each other.

In Farmingdale, a Motor Avenue home was broken into and reported stolen cash and energy drinks. In South Farmingdale, a jacket, cell phone, and cash were reportedly taken from a victim in a robbery.

The Second Precinct reported the following burglaries:

  • March 13: Burglary; Kiran Place, Hicksville; two bags of shrimp stolen.
  • March 15: Burglary; Motor Avenue, Farmingdale; cash, energy drinks stolen.
  • March 18: Burglary; Express Street, Plainview; rear door attempt, nothing taken.
  • March 19: Burglary; Foxwood Drive, Jericho; cash stolen.
