Driver brought woman to East Meadow from Jamaica Station, cops said.

A cab driver beat and tried to rob a woman he had driven home from Queens Monday morning, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said the 25-year-old victim came off the J train at Jamaica Station and got into a cab bound for Long Island. The driver brought her to Park Avenue and Waverly Place where he pulled over and demanded her money, cops said. The driver then punched the woman in the face and tried to take her pocketbook, police said.

The woman suffered injuries to her leg, shoulder, and back as well as a loose tooth after falling out of the cab, cops said.

The driver fled west on Park Avenue in a silver compact SUV without any proceeds, police said.

The robbery happened at 6:50 a.m. Monday, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

Suzanne, Huh-have you ever walk through that section- it's the pimps, unfortunately -prostitution and sadly drug addicts. And don't try to play that game if you skimp out on their payment for that service or you think you're smarter because they're all gonna getcha!
