Suffolk County Police on Monday arrested seven motorcyclists, including two from Farmingdale, from across the region after they tore through the Long Island Expressway, speeding and weaving through traffic for more than 10 exits.

Cops eventually pulled them over on the Farmingville-Medford border, near exit 63, after two motorists called 911 to report he riders' reckless driving on the eastern lane of the highway.

According to police, a highway patrol officer responded and followed the group for 10 exits. When the group reached Exit 63, a second police car pulled in front and stopped the riders.

Edward Gianino, 25, of Farmingdale, Emilio Morales, 28, of Brooklyn, Ian Glass, 20, of Farmingdale, Nicholas Belletti, 28, of Great Neck, Oskar Bucki, 20, of Glendale, David Golaszewski, 20, of Glendale, Victor Dasilva, 33, of Farmingdale were each charged with reckless driving, a misdemeanor.

Police impounded their motorcycles.

This is ridiculous and false information.... What happen was we were going for a nice cruise nothing crazy we passed a cop doing 60 ... If that's 90 then kill me, they said the cop followed us for 10 exits which is bull he followed us for 2 exits until we kindly pulled over after he turned his lights on..... While he was following us not one of us went of 75 mph which is keeping up with traffic because everyone speeds on long island.... Exact words from the police while we got processed "bad timing" they are using us as test rats so set and example for the bikers that caused havoc in NYC which is wrong not all bikers are asses so whoever reads this should know that all this media bullshit is bull and is for ever storie they write they just want people to be amazed by others actions when realistically we weren't doing anything wrong speed was down and cutting in cars but not close enough to hurt ourselves and sure enough not to hurt anyone else

These idiots are the scourge of our parkways and a danger to others and themselves. I am so grateful to see that some were caught, finally! Maybe they should be eliminated from parkways and forced to play daredevil up against the huge semis and over the road trucks on the Expressways. Let's see how brave these wise guys are going up against the truckers. No problem with the bikers that follow the rules of the road; I always respect them and give them a wide berth. But the idiotic zig-zagging speeders should be run off our Parkways.

Adda boy another arrest for Edward Gianino. Just can't stay out of trouble. He'll be going to they Pokey for a while soon enough for the other crimes he committed ,with his two other cohorts. It's a shame what hes putting his parents through ,they should cut him loose.

Mr glass , tell your story to a jury. Then lets see if your sent to the Pokey for a while like the rest of your buddies.

It's simple: stay in your lane, within the speed limit, and observe the rules of the road ...and cops won't follow you and take your bikes! See how easy that is?

I love the patch , and it amazes me by the ignorance that people post here. If what they say is true then I have no problem with this, but the fact is the real problem with the LI roads, expressways and Highways are the 95% of the population and traffic who are driving cars not motorcycles. Its the soccer mom texting and doing her makeup while not pay attention as shes driving down the road in her giant suv, the middle age guy in his audi driving at a high rate of speed weaving in and out of traffic on a congested highway during rush hour with no concern for any one else, and there spoiled brat kids who have no respect for the public or the publics property thanks to mommy and daddy. Why aren't the cops cracking down on this? Ill tell you why ....because the majority of LI commuters owe and drive cars, not motorcycles. Its clear here that the people who comment on these recent posts all over about motorcyclist never owed or will owe a motorcycle, and thats fine, but dont paint the picture and punish the people who do because its something you dont like, understand, or just because you want to jump on the bandwagon of the NYC story. The police should be stopping and arresting all the assholes on the roads that cant drive, have no interest in obeying the law and are jeopardizing everyone else's lives....but that doesnt happen cause every motorist who owes a car would be up and arms about it. Its the guy on the 2 wheeled machine that has no protection from the elements , the surroundings and the vehicles around him thats making LI dangerous to drive through right? Cmon people seriously.! Again I dont know these people in question in this article and if what the police say is true then Im all for it because im tired of reading nonsense from completely bias people bashing motorcyclists. Im a a law abiding biker simply because its dangerous enough just driving down the road at 40 mph with the way people drive here alone. Ive was hit on my bike on a major road, the driver who hit me fled the scene ....why wasnt that on the news...because its not interesting enough, and the majority of people dont ride a motorcycles so this will never happen to you to them, so who really cares. The problem is the people driving not the vehicle they drive!
