Cops Need Help in Hicksville Bank Robbery

Nassau detectives are seeking leads.

Nassau County detectives are investigating a bank robbery that took place on Saturday, April 5 at 9:26 a.m. in Hicksville.

According to detectives, an unknown man entered the Citibank at 255 N. Broadway and approached an employee and verbally demanded money. The man indicated he had a gun but none was displayed, police said.

The employee complied with the demand, and the man left the bank with an undetermined amount of money, according to police. The subject was last seen traveling eastbound on foot toward the Dollar Store.
 
There were eight employees and six customers present in the bank. No injuries were reported.

The man is described as in his 30s, five-foot-six, wearing a black hoodie-style sweatshirt, aviator style sunglasses, surgical mask, blue jeans and carrying a gray and black backpack.
