Crime Report: Break-In Attempt, DWI Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department, Nassau County Police Department, and New York State Police Troop L.  It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests: 

• A 29-year-old North Babylon resident was arrested July 3 in Farmingdale and charged with DWI. Reports state Garcia was allegedly operating a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse while intoxicated. Reports indicate he was traveling northbound on Route 110 and Smith St. in Farmingdale at approximately 2:05 a.m.   
• A 38-year-old West Babylon resident was arrested July 3 in East Farmingdale and charged with first offense DWI.  Reports state Alcarraz was allegedly operating a 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant while intoxicated. Reports state he was traveling on Route 110 and Great Neck Rd. at approximately 3:40 a.m.    
• Fitzroy Baker, II, 24, of Brentwood was arrested July 3 in Farmingdale and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Reports state Baker was stopped during a traffic stop on Broadhollow Rd. at approximately 5:24 p.m.    
• Leroy Jamison, Jr., 29, of East Farmingdale, was arrested July 1 in East Farmingdale and charged with third degree criminal trespassing. Reports state Jamison allegedly jumped over the backyard fence surrounding a residence at approximately 5 p.m.  
• Darin Cioffi, 45, of Lindenhurst, was arrested June 29 in Farmingdale for a warranted arrest. Reports state Cioffi allegedly violated his parole.

Incidents:

• On July 1, at approximately 7 p.m., a(n) unknown person(s) allegedly broke the front glass door of RNS Bright Shirts and stole cash, golf equipment and jewelry.  The store is located on Rome St., East Farmingdale. 
• On June 30, at approximately 12:45 a.m., threatening phone calls were received from an unknown male. 
• On June 30, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a wallet was stolen from an unlocked 2010 Toyota Rev 4 parked on Michael Ave., East Farmingdale.
• On June 29, at approximately 11 p.m., a(n) unknown person(s) unsuccessfully attempted to break into the outside bar portion at 56 Fighters Club in East Farmingdale.
