Crime Report: Car Damage, Thefts

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Farmingdale.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department, Nassau County Police Department, and New York State Police Troop L.  It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests: 

  • Louis Esposito, 52, of Bellmore, was arrested June 13 and charged with felony unlicensed operation, resisting arrest, using a vehicle without an interlock device, leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident and other traffic violations. Reports indicate Esposito was arrested after he allegedly left the scene of a two-car crash on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 25 in a blue Oldsmobile. Reports state one of the operators involved in the crash provided Troopers with a description of Esposito’s vehicle, and was found at approximately 6:30 p.m. at a Mobile Gas Station on Bellmore Avenue south of the Southern State Parkway.       
  • Taheem Greene, 21, of Wyandanch, was arrested June 13 in Farmingdale for a warranted arrest. 
  • Skylar Green, 24, of Wyandanch, was arrested June 13 in Farmingdale for a warranted arrest.
  • Anthony Steinheimer, 41, of East Farmingdale, was arrested June 8 in West Babylon and charged with second degree criminal contempt. 
  • Ralph Bianco, 53, of Farmingdale, was arrested June 7 in West Babylon and charged with 11 charges of identity theft, and second degree grand larceny.  Reports state Bianco allegedly obtained money worth of energy efficient funds.

  • On June 13, a burglary occurred at the Crystal Café on Conklin St. at approximately 5:16 a.m. Reports state a(n) unknown person(s) allegedly entered an unlocked rear door and removed money from behind the bar. 
  • On June 13, a second degree harassment incident occurred at the located at Airport Plaza in East Farmingdale at approximately 4:31 p.m. Reports state an individual approached another individual who allegedly owed the suspect money. Reports indicate the suspect punched the victim in the mouth, causing him to be transported to the hospital.
  • On June 13, an incident of fourth degree grand larceny occurred at approximately 10 a.m. Reports state a 1995 Honda parked outside Engine House on Allen Blvd., was stolen from the location. 
  • On June 7, an incident of fourth degree criminal mischief occurred at the Melting Pot located on Broadhollow Rd., at approximately 6:30 p.m.  Reports indicate a(n) unknown person (s) allegedly shattered the front passenger side window of a 2003 Honda parked outside the location.
