  • James Papa, of Massapequa, was arrested in East Farmingdale on Feb. 21 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • Billy Decaneo, of North Babylon, was arrested in East Farmingdale on Feb. 20 and charged with failure to pay for service.
  • Nicholas Logreira, of Valley Stream, was arrested in East Farmingdale on Feb. 18 and charged with criminal possession of marijuana. 
  • Phillip Jr. Tate, of West Babylon, was arrested in Farmingdale on Feb. 15 and charged with criminal possession of weapons.

 Incidents

  • Police received a call from North Richmond Avenue in North Massapequa for kicked in PVC panels on a complainant’s fence.
  • Three Long Island men, including one from Farmingdale, are accused of stealing the contents of three clothing donation bins in Nanuet, New York according to . Town police received a tip that donated clothing was being illicitly removed from donation bins in the parking lot of the Nanuet  store and a town officer on patrol in the area spotted a box-style truck near the bins and stopped the three men with the commercial truck for questioning. Police said the contents of the bins were taken without authority and all three men were arrested on charges of petty larceny. The contents of the donation bins were recovered. Charged were Wilber Sierra-Araque, 30, of Farmingdale, and a West Babylon and Glendale man. All three men were held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City pending a March 3 hearing in Town Court. Sierra-Araque was held on $1,500 bail.
  • A Bay Shore man charged with driving while intoxicated in an E. Farmingdale crash that killed his wife last month
  • A West Babylon woman was arrested at Allen Park on Monday and , police said.
