The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department, Nassau County Police Department and New York State Police Troop L. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests:

  • Eric Nelson, of Massapequa, was arrested in East Farmingdale on March 27 and charged with petit larceny.
  • Jayson Tyree, of Farmingdale, was arrested in North Lindenhurst on March 25 and charged with reckless endangerment and DWI.
  • Matthew Howard, of East Farmingdale, was arrested in East Farmingdale on March 17 and charged with DWAI combined drugs and alcohol.

Incidents:

  • Suffolk County Police reported that there was criminal mischief on Smith Street on March 25.
  • Nassau County Police reported that a complainant discovered jewelry missing from her home on North Pine Street in North Massapequa on March 21.
  • Nassau County Police reported that on March 26 an unknown caller claiming to be a law firm representing TD Bank called a complainant and stated she defaulted on her loan and needed to send $1,300 to them. Police said the complainant spoke with TD Bank and they stated they are not represented by a law firm and that it was a scam.
