D.A. Convicts EMT for Sexually Assaulting 5 People, Including an 11-yr-old Bed-Stuy Girl

From 2001 to 2010, Angus Pascall attacked five women, ages 11 to 22

An FDNY EMT was convicted Wednesday for sexually assaulting five victims over the course of ten years, the youngest of whom was 11-years-old, Kings County District Attorney Charles Hynes announced.

Angus Pascall, 36, was convicted of one count of rape in the first degree, seven counts of predatory sexual assault, three counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, one count of attempted predatory sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

From 2001 to 2010, Pascall, armed with weapons ranging at times from a gun to a machete to a knife, attacked five women, ages 11 to 22.

His victims include a 22-year-old woman he raped in her East Flatbush apartment in 2001, a 19-year old who was forced to perform oral sex in a Flatbush elevator in 2009 and a 14-year-old who escaped an attack in October of that year.

Pascall was also convicted of raping an 11-year-old girl in a Bed-Stuy elevator in 2010. Using an elevator key to trap the girl in the elevator and to avoid interruption, Pascall put a gun to her face and repeatedly assaulted her.

In 2010, Pascall raped a 20-year-old woman in Canarsie after forcing her into his car at gunpoint. As he left the scene, the woman memorized his license plate and reported it to the police.

Pascall will be sentenced on Feb. 13 and faces up to life in prison.

It's weird to run a picture of this man (the DA?) as the only one attached to the story--the first impression is that he's the convicted man. But in any case, I'm glad the perp was convicted!
