Village of Farmingdale Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision Thursday with two people trapped in separate autos at the intersection of Hempstead Tpke and Merritts Rd.
VOF units S924 and L926 used the Jaws of Life to extricate the victims.
Both patients were transported by ambulance to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
The accident occurred about 8 p.m.
