The helped clean up a fuel spill on Route 109 early Monday morning.
About 40 to 50 gallons leaked from a tractor trailer at the parking of beer distributor Boening Brothers, at 1098 Route 109. The fire department said four or five storm drains were affected.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation and the Town of Babylon Fire Marshal's offices were notified of the accident.
