Minor Injuries in Conklin Street Accident

The road was closed around noon.

Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon when a car overturned on Conklin Street, according to police and fire officials.

At 12:06 p.m. the and Nassau County Police responded to the scene of auto accident at Conklin Street and Van Cott Avenue.

According to the fire department, the cars collided and the SUV overturned. Two people were injured and transported to Nassau University Medical Center by a NCPD Ambulance.

Police closed Conklin Street in both directions until around 1 p.m. while crews secured the scene.

Slow down ... drive with caution ..... too many people are zooming on our residential streets ........... driving like on a parkway. Have no idea what happened here. All I know is that it's happening too frequently in the Farmingdale area
