Mother, Son Arrested in Oxycodone Forgery Scheme
Queens duo allegedly forged prescriptions in three Nassau County communities during 2010 and 2011.
A mother and son tandem from Queens was arrested Monday after the duo allegedly forged prescriptions for oxycodone in Franklin Square, West Hempstead and Farmingdale during 2010 and 2011.
Police said the Walgreens pharmacist confirmed through the doctor that the prescription was a forgery.

Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives arrested Campo Monday morning at Brooklyn Criminal Court. He is being charged with possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and identity theft in the second degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday at Fist District Court in Hempstead.
Michael's mother, 54-year-old Doreen Campo, of Glendale, was arrested later in the day Monday after being located by Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives in New York City.

On Oct. 27 and Nov. 13, 2010, and on April 3, 2011, police said Doreen presented forged prescriptions for Oxycodone pills to CVS stores in Farmingdale and West Hempstead.
Doreen is being charged with three counts of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree. She will be arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
