Three-car collision in East Farmingdale is under investigation.

Suffolk County Police have identified the victim of a fatal car wreck in East Farmingdale Tuesday as a 51-year-old Massapequa man.

Thomas Tighe of 4 McKinley Place, Massapequa, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's office.

According to police, Tighe's vehicle collided with a 2004 Chevy Impala driven by Anthony Marcatanta, who was attempting to make a turn left from Lamar Street onto eastbound Edison Avenue about noon Tuesday.

The Impala struck the passenger side of a 2002 Toyota Avalon driven by Tighe who was westbound on Edison Avenue.

Tighe's car then spun into eastbound traffic on Edison Avenue where it collided on the driver's side with a 2000 Dodge Intrepid.

Marcatante, 49, of North Lindenhurst, was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip, where he was being treated for neck pain.
