Police: Lindenhurst Man Forced Teen, Woman to Engage in Prostitution

Andy Gayot held teen and woman against their will at home on North Greene Avenue, police say.

A Lindenhurst man was arrested Tuesday after police say he held two females, one just 15-years-old, against their will and forced them "to engage in acts of prostitution."

Suffolk County Police, in conjunction with the Suffolk County Probation Department and the FBI, executed a search warrant at 258 North Greene Ave. in Lindenhurst Tuesday and officers and agents discovered the teen, who had run away from home, and a 21-year-old woman in the residence.

The two were being held against their will by Andy Gayot, who lived at the residence, police said.

Gayot, 35, was charged with three counts of promotion prostitution and one count each of compelling prostitution, third degree rape, third degree criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment, third degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also faces other unspecified felony and misdemeanor charges, police said.

Gayot was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.

Who cares what he is charged with, this is such a stupid country we live in, makes me sick to admit I was born here. Nobody cares what charges he might have, and when this animal is going to get out on parole, just give him the death sentence and be done with already, a life ruined for an unproductive waste of a life.

This could have been your daughter in there.. see something strange no matter how stupid it is say something wake up people open you eyes.

I am a nosey neighbor! I don't give a rats ass if I offended someone driving slow down my street, walking back and forth knocking on doors or cars parked anywhere near my house. I live here and want people to know I see them if something is fishy police are a coming!

That dirt bag will find out how it feels once he's in prison! We need drastic punishments as not even prison seems to deter these sociopaths from abusing people. Where is the freedom in this country for the ordinary person? Why are there still predators like this on the streets? They're not afraid of anything.
