A school bus collided with two other vehicles on Conklin Street in Farmingdale Tuesday afternoon, sending six children to an area hospital for evaluation.
Firefighters said the injuries to the children did not appear serious. They were transported by another school bus to the hospital; none required ambulances.
Firefighters from Farmingdale and Bethpage along with Nassau County police responded in force to the scene of the three-vehicle collision on Conklin Street and Secatogue Avenue just after 3 p.m. The mini-bus was operated by Atlantic Express.
