A South Farmingale man has been reported missing and is feared to be depressed and possibly suicidal, authorities said.
Nassau County Police said Raymond Rossler of South Farmingdale was last seen driving away from his residence on Tuesday at 5 p.m. heading eastbound.
When family members attempted to contact him, his cell phone showed him traveling on the Southern State Parkway at Exit 35, police said. He was driving a black 2010 Nissan Sentra.
In the Silver Alert issued by police, Rossler is described as 6 feet tall, about 220 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He is 51-years old.
