The attached photo is one of several sent to us by Patch readers recently, raising concerns about issues that may be remaining three weeks after Hurricane Sandy blew through Farmingdale and across Long Island.
In this photo, a tree is cracked down the middle and leaning against another tree in the park on the corner of Prescott Place and Tad Lane in Old Bethpage.
"It almost looks like with a good wind that it could slide down off the base that where it's cracked," wrote alert Patch reader David L., who sent us the photo. "It looks very dangerous to me, especially in a children's playground.
