The weekend's big snow storm may just turn into watery mush Monday as the National Weather Service predicts rain throughout the day.
The steady rain, perhaps a half-inch or so, may begin as freezing rain and sleet during the overnight hours. Some Long Island school districts may be impacted. Patch will keep you posted.
The morning commute may also be a difficult one.
Many in Farmingdale on Sunday used the clear weather to continue the clean-up. Farmingdale's main roadways, from Main Street to Conklin and Route 109, are clear. Farmingdale's side roads are passable, but contain slick spots and are difficult to park on. See our photos attached here.
