Buses to Replace Morning Trains to Ronkonkoma Saturday

Service change needed to inspect tracks between Farmingdale and Ronkonkoma.

Buses will replace Long Island Rail Road trains between Farmingdale and Ronkonkoma on Saturday morning.

The service change impacts early morning trains on Saturday from 12:45 - 6 a.m.

A specialized Sperry Rail inspection train will check for possible rail defects during that period. Four eastbound and four westbound trains will be affected and customers should allow for added travel time of up to 38 minutes, the LIRR said.
