Growing up near here, I've always loved Long Island's water towers. I'm not sure why.
But I couldn't help stop and fire off this shot this week of the Farmingdale Village elevated water tank. I took it late Sunday after the snow storm cleared.
Maybe you could share some pictures, and tell us your stories about the tank and its history? Did you ever secretly try to climb it? Hop the fence for a clandestine meeting?
