New Business Sought at Closed Wantagh Pizzeria

Owner of large storefront across from Wantagh Train Station seeking new tenant for 3250 Railroad Ave.

A large storefront across from the Wantagh Train Station has a vacancy that its owner Sylvester Catalanello is looking to fill soon.

The empty space on 3250 Railroad Ave. was formerly a pizzeria called Crust, which closed last year. Catalanello, owner of Realty Marketing Agency in Wantagh, said he is looking for a retail-type business for the open spot. One inquiry for the property was for a bakery, Catalanello said.

The empty space for rent is around 900 square feet. Catalanello said there is no timetable for choosing a tenant.

In my opinion Wantagh is not looking for new businesses . with all your right wing thinking citizens there why would any one want to bring their business to wantagh . so they can build and renovate and upgrade the area then told they cant be their . such as the Billy Dean Caberet on Sunrise Hwy .

I like that idea Lorraine, the tickets alone could pay the rent and they won't need patrol cars, just "step into my office".

A Bagel store please!!! I can't believe there isn't any by the train. It makes no sense to me that we have two nail salons almost next door to each other, three martial arts places and two head shops and no bagel store in the area!!
