Albany Avenue Students Shave Heads to Fight Cancer

More than 20 elementary school kids take part in fundraiser.

More than 20 students from the Farmingdale School District’s Albany Avenue Elementary School went bald for a good cause.

The students participated in a local St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser head-shaving event. The students joined in a collective effort to shave their heads while helping to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to help fund research to find a cure for childhood cancer.
