Cops: Burglary Surge Near Farmingdale

Burglary reports surged to 14 last week, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops reported the incidents in Oyster Bay, Syosset, Plainview, and more communities in and near Farmingdale.

In Syosset, cops are hunting three men who held up a jewelry store using a gun. 

Cops are hunting three men who reportedly held up a Syosset jewelry store Tuesday evening, according to Nassau County Police.

A woman working at Garco Jewelry on Jericho Turnpike buzzed in the armed trio at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.

One of the men pointed a gun at the woman while another went into the back of the store and found a male employee, police reported. Read what happened here.
