Join Cindy Pierce Lee, Associate Director of SCOPE Education Services for an informative talk on preventing bullying. According to the NYS Dignity for ALL Student Act, "bullying is a hostile activity which harms or induces fear through the threat of further aggression and/or creates terror." It includes physical, verbal and relational/emotional attacks delivered in person or through technology. Parents must be armed with the facts about this insidious behavior and be prepared to discuss bullying often and effectively with their children.
In lieu of a registration fee, they ask that you forward a free will offering to support local ministry (including a feeding program) at St. Thomas' Church.
