Family Math Day is April 5

The program draws from nearby school districts.

Math enthusiasts, take note: The Sandy Cohen Family Math Day is set for Saturday, April 5, and draws from nearby school districts. 

Held at Bethpage High School, the event offers “a day of excitement and adventure in mathematics for children in grades K-6 and their parents” organizers say.

The day features 66 workshops, which are programmed by grade level. All children must be be pre-registered for the event. The program’s fee is $40 for each family of two to five people, and $5 for each additional person.

According to the Farmingdale Public School website, sponsoring districts include Bethpage, East Meadow, East Rockaway, East Williston, Farmingdale, Freeport, Malverne, Massapequa, Merrick, Mineola and Plainview-Old Bethpage. It is presented by Nassau County Mathematics Teachers' Association.
