Farmingdale Approves BOCES Budget

School board also endorses 3 Nassau board incumbents.

In a special session lasting less than 11 minutes, the Farmingdale Board of Education Tuesday unanimously passed the proposed 2012-13 Nassau BOCES administrative operations budget.

All Nassau County school districts vote on the BOCES budget. The results from all districts was no immediately known.

The administrative portion of the $295 million total budget would increase 1.9 percent.

The Farmingdale board also endorse the re-election of three incumbents on the BOCES board, Martin Kaye, Susan Bergtraum, and Michael Weinick.
