Farmingdale State College Graded Fifth Safest Campus in Nation

The ranking is according to Universityprimetime.com.

Farmingdale State College was again ranked the fifth safest college in the nation, according to Universityprimetime.com, an online resource for campus life.

Farmingdale State College President W. Hubert Keen congratulated those who contributed to the campus' safety, commending also the university police and its chief.  

“Thanks to all of you and to the university police officers for working with the campus community to create a strong culture of respect and caring," Keen said, in a statement. "Given our Students First initiative, this recognition is most gratifying.”

Previously, the DailyBeast.com ranked the college as fifth in safety.

The only other SUNY campus on the Universityprimetime.com list was FIT, which ranked eighth.
