Farmingdale's Howitt Middle School seventh and eighth grade girls’ softball team recently attended a Long Island Ducks baseball game in Islip to celebrate its successful season on the field and in the classroom.
The Farmingdale School District team ended its season with an 8-3 record.
The students additionally joined several Long Island Ducks players on the field during the singing of the Star Spangled Banner, and took a team photo with the Ducks’ mascot, Quackerjack.
